Gender Equality in WordPress Businesses is a first-of-its-kind study exploring the state of women working for WordPress-focused businesses.
In 2024, we launched the study to gain insights into the experiences of women and underrepresented people, and to give companies the tools and resources they need to support gender equality in the workplace. We collected information from 323 people employed by more than 90 WordPress businesses, conducted analysis on the makeup of WordPress business leadership teams, and conducted interviews with five people, including successful business leaders, to learn about their individual experiences working in the WordPress ecosystem.
